Star Mandala II (Christmas Star)
The eight pointed star appears in many spiritual traditions. Its symbolism includes wholeness, wealth, prosperity, new beginnings, and transcendence. I see it as a symbol for universal Love and the God spirit within each of us.
I used several iridescent, metallic and gemstone paints for this piece. This gives the original piece a shimmery quality that is unfortunately impossible to reproduce in a print; however the energy of the piece comes through very well.
